In a statement, the team said it was monitoring the situation but had no further comment.

Maybin’s arrest was the second off-field incident involving the Giants in the past week.

Giants chief executive officer Larry Baer took a leave of absence on Monday after video surfaced of a physical incident with his wife.

Major League Baseball said it was looking into the Baer incident.
